The Moss Boss
Moenise is a 27 year old entrepreneur, mother, herbalist, and wellness enthusiast.
"Growing up in a Jamaican household, natural remedies were not foreign to me. I ate my fruits and vegetables, but I still consumed the standard American diet (meat, eggs, dairy and processed foods). After years of having difficulty breathing and being told by several doctors that the only solution was septum surgery, I opted to try something new. In 2016, I began to study the lectures and teachings of the late Dr. Sebi. After analyzing his research I decided to give an alkaline diet a try.
I began with a two week fast, strictly following the list of alkaline approved foods. My results were profound. 14 days later, I was able to breathe through my nose with no complications, I had more energy, and no more mental fog. This fast not only improved my health, but was also a catalyst for my holistic journey. This changed my relationship with food forever.
I gave up eating meat in 2016 and by 2018 I went completely vegan. I became obsessed with health and prioritized it in every way. I did research on every herb I didn’t recognize and changed my lifestyle completely. Innately, I felt a spark of passion anytime I discussed holistic health. After reflecting on how the system oppresses and controls us through diet, I realized that I could make a difference in my community by giving people access to healthy products that can help improve their livelihoods. I perfected the art of making sea moss gel on my own years before this revelation came about, there was no better product to start with. Sea moss is the most nutrient dense food on the planet and our communities are nutritionally deprived. This realization is what started Empress Holistics.

We ship our products on Monday-Tuesday via USPS. Please allow 7-14 days for your order to process. Product availability may be limited depending on your location. Please note that our Moss Ades and Fruit Moss Gels are extremely perishable, if you are ordering for shipping we strongly recommend you select priority express shipping to ensure maximum freshness upon arrival.
For pick ups, these can be arranged 1-3 days after your order is placed. Located in Queens, NY.
NOTE: Due to COVID-19, there is a contactless pick up system in place. At the time of pick up, your order will be placed in the pick up table located on the doorstep.
